About ZingerZ Comedy Club - Bedford / DFW
ZingerZ Comedy Club first opened in August of 2014 in Bedford TX in partnership with another new business, The Upright Café. ZingerZ Comedy Club and Upright Cafe worked together to deliver family-friendly entertainment and good food to the Mid-Cities. Unfortunately, within their first year of operation, The Upright Café was forced to close.
ZingerZ Comedy Club immediately found a new venue for their weekly shows at UPAC in Pantego TX, followed by another move a year later to Leap of Faith Dance, also in Pantego TX. Through a strong partnership, ZingerZ Comedy Club called Leap of Faith "home" until ZingerZ was forced into a temporary closure by the COVID pandemic.
From 2014 through the pandemic shut down, ZingerZ Comedy Club stayed focused on providing Clean Comedy, that was FUNNY for ALL AGES, to the DFW Metroplex. Zingerz accomplished this through weekly shows, event performances and FUNdraisers. ZingerZ Comedy's "Audience First" mentality, along with their abundantly talented cast, allowed ZingerZ Comedy Club to soon become known as the place to go for Clean Laughs!
15 months after ZingerZ forced temporary closure, ZingerZ took the stage once again through a partnership with Alley Cats Entertainment in Arlington TX. After 3 years at Alley Cats, it was time to move on...
To celebrate our 10 year anniversary of bringing interactive fun to the DFW Mid-Cities area, ZingerZ Comedy Club went back home to where it all started... Bedford, TX. ZingerZ Comedy Club has now joined forces with Onstage In Bedford, just in time to help them celebrate their 40 year anniversary as the Mid-Cities' premier destination for quality theatre. Through this partnership, ZingerZ Comedy Club has now become Onstage In Bedford's in-house clean improv comedy club. We are excited about this new chapter for ZingerZ Comedy Club, now ZingerZ Comedy Club at Onstage In Bedford, and look forward to helping Onstage in providing the Mid-Cities with not only the best in theatre, but the best professional improv comedy and improv training around!

What is Improv Comedy
Improv comedy is an interactive entertainment experience unlike any other! Simply put, Improv Comedy is comedy that is improvised. The ‘Playerz’ of Zingerz’ Clean Improv Comedy Show don’t need scripts or preparation. Through sheer comic chops, they spin audience suggestions into sketches, RIGHT ON THE SPOT, in laugh-a-minute performances, where no two shows are ever the same! Like TV’s “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” the players partake in random games and invite audience members on stage to join the fun, all while keeping the comic material clean enough for the entire family to enjoy! With Improv, you don’t just watch comedy… you become PART OF THE SHOW!
Is this show really appropriate for children?
Yes! Event though we are not a "Kiddie Show", our Comedy is CLEAN! We steer clear of inappropriate material such as vulgar language, sexual content, and non-PG violence.
Additionally, Zingerz also keeps Politics and Religion out of the show as well... Yep, Pure Comedic Escapism that Everyone can Enjoy!
Will adults enjoy the show or is it mainly for kids?
Zingerz’ Clean Improv Comedy Show is designed for EVERYONE! Adults will enjoy our comedy just as much, if not more, than kids! Zingerz Clean Improv Comedy Show is perfect for a Date Night, Girls Night Out, or Anniversary! Just because we are Clean doesn’t
How long is the show?
Our Clean Improv Comedy Show is around 1 hour 30 minutes in length.
How do I buy tickets?
ADVANCE TICKETS (Recommended): You can purchase Advance Tickets online by clicking on "Bedford Tickets" above! Just follow the directions and get ready for a Fun Time! You can also purchase Advance Tickets over the phone by calling 817-609-1715. When you purchase tickets in advance, you will be sent a receipt via email or text. You will need to bring this receipt (printed out or on your phone) as your proof of purchase to get into the show – the receipt IS you Ticket(s).
TICKETS AT THE DOOR: If you would rather chance it, by all means Go For It! Live Life on the Edge! However we do recommend arriving 30 minutes in advance as there is Limited Seating Available for each show.
Is there a food/drink minimum?
No, however there will be concessions available for you to enjoy during the show!
Can I bring in outside food or drink?
NO outside food or drinks are allowed.
Can I record the show or take pictures?
Video/Audio recording is only permitted when a member of your party is on stage taking part in the show, otherwise NO recording is allowed without explicit written permission from Zingerz Management. Still Photography is allowed without flash.
